Capturing power and the movement of water is important in my abstract art.
When I was a child my parents put new painting tarps down on the sand and we’d all sleep under the stars facing the ocean while listening to the ever reassuring movements of waves. I loved it. Around water is where I explored so happily. Around water is where I first learned to paint.
Today, I live and paint super close to water and nature, in a lovely town along one of the world’s amazing Great Lakes.
Power In Action uses abstract expressionism to capture nature and these happy experiences.
